Tania White Specialist BMS Diagnostic Cytopathology. "I have worked in cytology for 20 years, starting as an MLA and eventually becoming a BMS cytology screener for the cervical screening programme. As of March 2020, when we lost the cervical screening work we became a purely diagnostic cytology laboratory. I completed my specialist portfolio in April 2021. I started my ROSE portfolio in September 2023 and completed it in October 2024. I am currently undertaking the DEP in Diagnostic Cytology."听

Mary Jones is a senior BMS working at the Royal Cornwall Hospital. She is an expert in immunohistochemistry having specialised in this field for over 20 years. She manages both local and centralised testing of histology and cytology samples for genomics analysis which is used to predict treatment options for patients with solid tumours and haematological malignancies.听
This presentation is a run through of the advancements in treatment options for cancer patients based on predictive genomic markers. It will focus on local testing and centralised testing and in large, the pre-analytical factors that can affect optimal genomics reporting using cytology samples for analysis.听

The 91桃色's very own Helen Burrell will be delivering an excellent webinar听focusing on the reporting of borderline changes in endocervical cells within the NHSCSP based on questionnaire answers submitted by a range of cervical screening laboratories within the UK. Topics covered will include reporting rates, histological outcomes, recap of guidelines associated with this category, and of course there will be cytology images from some of our Bristol cases as a reminder of features required for this classification. Helen will also touch on some pitfalls and consider morphological features that might help to refine our use of this reporting category.
